Running Nitto Invos mostly because I got a good deal on them. Intended to buy the Continentals but the guy at discount tire gave me a better deal on the Nittos. No complains on them and they don't tramline like the Pirelli PZeros did.

Good luck.

Just bought a set of Bridgestone Potenzas RE760 Sports. Got them from Tire Rack for a great price. Really bites down well on the wet and dry. No complaints at all.

I bought firestone wide ovals, very inexpensive and long wearing. Great in the rain.

I have the Vredesteins (hope that is spelled right?) Anyway I have 50,000 on them and the fronts are fine but the rears are done! Need to buy them ASAP. I would recommend these tires over just about everything just because they last so long.

The BFG KDW2's were pretty good to me when I had them, excellent in the rain

However I really liked the Vredestein Sessanta's, when I bought them they were priced right and the overall performance of the tire was great.

I'm fond of my Vredestein Ultrac Sessentas. You can get them at a great price on ebay. And they are great in the rain, which may be important if it is your DD.

To be honest if you are going to sell the car I would sell it as is and not put new tires on it. The previous owner of my car put a new set of Toyo T1R’s on which he thought was a selling point whereas I found it to be a disadvantage as they are not the best tire for my use. A buddy has runflats on his Z06 because the previous owner thought it was a good idea to get new tires before selling the car too. He can’t wait to get rid of them.

I run Nitto NT05's and have drag radials for the street. See where the differences come in to play.

Please tell us your usage. For track I prefer Hoosier A6. For Strip, M/T ET drag radials. For street I run Nitto NT-05s or Michelin SuperSports.

Where did you guys get the Wide Ovals from?

I had a set on my '88 and they were great tires.

My rear tires need to be changed soon, lots of road noise from the General Exclaims.

Another vote for NT05's. Depends what you want to do with your car but IMO they are somewhere between a drag tire and street tire. They will hook your Z up WAY better than the old GY's. But if your gonna sell it I wouldn't do anything with the tires. Good luck.

I got mine from a firestone dealer in town.
