Tons of threads on the subject if do a search but for me I used a Predator tuner to set it right and then later when I went to 3.42 rear gears I had my tuner set it properly.

Thanks guys! Those were the answers I was looking for.

1 vote to ingnore the difference.

1 vote to tune it out.

I would choose to tune it out now that I know it can be done. (That's just my preference)

3'sacrowd - I completely agree and never meant to say the going to a different aspect ratio with the same overall diameter will fill in a wheel well better.
Obviously by the looks of it my 2002 Z06 sits higher than my 2001 convertible and neither was ever lowered. Just different builds. I noticed that my 2001 convertible has slightly larger door gaps , on both sides, than the Z06 which is more tightly fitted. Neither car was in an accident just Corvettes, especially between years, can vary greatly in build "quality".

I wonder if it also has to do with the different spring rates between cars. The 2001 has the F45 suspension with soft springs though I did change to Z06 sway bars (which do not effect ride height). I remember years ago changing the rear spring on my 65 Corvette from standard spring to a HD spring and the car sat slightly higher after that.
