Whats missing in my trunk?
Hey guys I just got this 03 z and in the center trunk area is what looks like a place to store stuff but it doesnt have a lid, is this correct or is my car missing something?

If you do so, I suggest going with a quality set & make sure the large center section has a hinge on the bottom (hidden) front 1/3 front side of
the center section lid.
That way you will be able to store things in the center well under the lid, w/out having to remove it.

I made my own center cover, left the sides open. You need some 1/4" masonite, black carpet from Walmart (very close match to factory trunk carpet), spray adhesive and additional if you want is a long piano hinge across the rear 1/3 section to hinge it up. I installed the factory CD changer and this allows me to access it without removing the cover. Cut the board to fit the depression around the opening, spray glue and carefully lay on the carpet. That's it, looks and works great. Not much money invested, too.
