Yet Another Jumping from a C4 to C5
Well add me to the list of C4 to C5 jumpers.
After much debate looks like I've found a great 2000 Mag Red C5 with 31K miles, 6spd, Borla Exhaust, Brand new Michelin Pilots, HUD, Adust Suspension. Too good a deal to pass up!
I'll be posting pics soon can't wait to start making her mine.
Any advice for a new C5 owner?

Congrats on your new 2000,and your conversion from a C4. It won't take long for you to ask yourself why you waited so long. Let the mods begin.

Congrats on getting into a C5 - you'll like the differences between it and the C4. And don't let it just sit in the garage - drive it and enjoy.

I also made the jump from a C4 to a C5 and wish I had done it sooner. The C4 was a great car and my wife drove it daily (she had the covered parking) for almost 5 years. You will miss the great engine access you had with the C4 hood but the C5 isn't bad.
Things I've acquired for the C5 that I didn't need with the C4: 12v air compressor and plugging kit, Mike Mercury ramps, 2" X 12" ramps for the rear and 2" X 6"'s to go between the cross members and jack stands.
Congratulations on your "new" Corvette.

Congrats on the jump. I highly recommend that you invest in a Column Lock By-pass (CLB) if the the car doesn't already have one. If you are not familiar with this problem, do a search. You will find many threads on it.
