Sorry, I haven't used the splash guards from that vendor. I am currently using a set from RPI Designs that require no drilling - they're not a fancy set, but they do seem to keep the rock chips down and only cost about $40.

Here you go...
I picked up a set for $95 shipped from a forum member. Trimming the first piece to fit took roughly an hour, possibly longer, but the second piece took less then half of that. No drilling, just used 3m 2 sided tape...it's not going anywhere!
Wish i would have used 3M they I used smaller screws. The one they want you to uses are push pins and require drilling.
Bet they look sweet on STALIONS Ride
Altec's splash guards hang too low, they drag over every speed bump you go over in parking lots, I took mine off for fear of cracking a fender.
My next ones up are going to be Apsis, maybe expensive but they look better, the Altecs have just too much of a tacked on look!

And the cheapies look just like that, cheap!
Thanks for your candid opinion. Unfortunately your streets must be terrible. My Altecs have been on for a while, my Vette is lowered, and I have never had one problem with them dragging over "any" speed bump.
Hey, we all don't have money trees in our back yards..

I kind of mis-wrote that, I meant the cheap stamped mud flats are the cheapie types, not the Altecs, or the Apsis.
I liked the way the Altecs looked in pictures, but just couldn't get to like them in person, and yes the parking lot speed bumps here are horrendeous!
I backed over a speed bump and swore the guards were going to get ripped off, thats what convinced me to remove them before really doing some damage!
Peace!

I'm hoping this weekend I will get a chance to take some nice pics.

No problem...when I get some photos I'll post them up. Might be a while though. I installed them while the wheels were at the powder-coater a couple of months ago, after I put the new wheels and tires on, took it out for a spin, and blew my tranny , kept my cool , told the wife, lets go, we packed the 4runner and took off for a couple of weeks, came back, and now RPM is building a tranny for me, so photos to follow.
