Default Tail light screw covers

I would swear I saw a vendor selling little red plastic caps
(or plugs) that fit in the tail lights to hide the screws.
Now I can't seem to find them on any vendor's website.
Does someone make these, or was I just dreaming?

Thanks - Tom

I have a set that I bought from Lowes - never installed them on the car - they are black but could be painted red I would suppose.

Check this, they're black, but like was said a little fine sand paper and paint them up should be good to go.

I got some from Ecklers but not sure if they just sell them any more. Good luck

I also have them on my front and rear license plate screws.

You need 4 packages for the taillights (Hillman hinged #4 & #6 Black H# 881025) and 2 packages of the larger style screw covers for the license plate screws (Hillman hinged 1/4 inch Black H# 881033).

If a vendor makes these, I'm sure there is a very high Corvette tax involved. Buy the little plastic hinged cap covers from Lowes and some red plastic model paint. Add a little sandpaper/clear and you could do this mod for under $10.00 and that's if you buy really expensive model paint!

I would suggest just picking up the Lowe's product. Mine look great.

I would also suggest just keeping them black, but of course you could paint the lid on them red (or whatever color you wish) to match whatever you choose.

Easy install, looks good if you ask me.

I also got my screw covers at Lowes, if you tighten them down to much they will not snap closed so you may have to back off a turn.

I guess this is the "I have literally done everything else to my car" mod.
