window control and locks stopped working
I'll ck the fuses anyone have or heard this b4?
If it happens again, try wiggling the wiring in the accordian tube that runs from the body to the door. Do this without turning off the car and as soon as you notice the problem again. You may start getting all kinds of warnings on the DIC (Driver Information Center). If at night you should notice the panel will be unlit.
Also seaarch on how to pull codes from the DIC panel, or DIC Codes. If you already know this, then run through the codes. There may be some codes there that show you have had a communication loss with the door control module. You could do a search on my name and find posts where people have helped me and the problems I experianced. Good luck!

There is a connector inside the tube, that joins the door panel wiring harness with the body harness. It's a bit of a pain, but you can maneuver the tube away from the door and wiring and see the joining connectors and wiring. Again there are some old posts, maybe even "stickies" that have pics and show all this. It will go back together just fine, just a bit of a struggle.
The connector pins/connections can get oxidized and cause an open. This "open" condition would explain the "no operation" of window, locks etc.
I think I had a shorting problem between two or more wires. I found that the panel just inside the body and up under the dash (PITA), was loose and allowing the wiring to move as the door opened and closed.
Some have found that the wiring is stripped back a little too far from the connector (inside the tube) and can cause shorts. There has been many (I think) that have had these gremlins, so there are many posts concerning this. Check out the DIC codes as well.
Lets us know what you find. The thing about these damn gremlins is they get around. I worry that they will hear me typing about them, get mad, and attack again.
Good Luck

The connector has some pins that could need cleaning and maybe spread out a little. Look over the pins of the connector, they have a little bit of a springiness to them to insure contact. You may have to open/bend the contacts on bot sides of the connectors to help them make contact. You can pick up contact cleaner at radio shack. Just be sure to read the can to make sure it will not damage plastic. TV tuner cleaner should work, but very few people have that type of TV anymore, so the cleaner may not be available.
