i installed a oil catch can and that helped alot - without the can - extra oily film from exhaust can mount up and hold the dust. have 18k on car. keeps your intake manofold cleaner also.
I swore Id never dust a dry car, but after listening to you guys ive found tha California Duster does the trick. I have about 3 coats of wax on the rear just for this. I carry the duster in my car now, lol, and everytime I stop I dust the rear !
A new CD was one of the things I bought on the way home from picking up my new 2000 coupe this past January. I've carried one in every car I've owned despite all the looks I get from people who seem to think I'm crazy. These are the same people who are amazed that my 10+ year-old cars still look like they just rolled off the showroom floor.
Anyone use a California duster on a black C5? I thought the dusters pick up dirt. Won't that cause scratching on the paint? I'd love to use one if I felt comfortable about no scratching.

It wont scratch provided you have a good coat of wax on her!

I use one on mine & haven't noticed any scratches. However, if I have a real heavy coating of dirt or dust I'll wash it instead of using the CD.
Leaf blower or my Master Blaster. I rarely put towels or dusters to my car for any reason, other than washing. Don't want to risk scratching the paint... (Dirt is different than dust...)
