You would think the C5 with the frameless easy pull out windows, and the columns unlocked, that they'd be rolled down your driveway and pushed to the chop shops by the hundreds. Maybe the thieves don't know all the columns are unlocked?

My C5 is usually extremely easy to break into because the top is down most of the time.
I would think the best way to steal any C5 is to use a special tow truck like THIS.
12 seconds into the video, they pull out a tightly wedged in C5 and were off in 35 seconds.
Short of chaining the Corvette to an oak tree, what can one do?

I suppose they made that one 83 Vette so it can be said that the Vette is the longest production run of any car made.

SO I bought my car used of course. If its sitting there and the column is not locked, is it safe to assume it has had teh column lock bypass?
