Finally bought my dream car!!! First off, I've done numerous searches on this very topic but haven't been given a definitive answer... where can I buy/how can I get OEM Z06 Speedline wheels that are chromed? I am aware that WCC does the "chrome wheel exchange" but at this point in time I am told they are out of stock of chromed factory Speedline wheels which is exactly what I'm willing to buy. I don't want the heavy China stuff. I realize the chroming process adds marginal weight, but nothing like the Motorsports I've been told. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for your help!!
there are many places that can chrome your wheels.. I don't know or heard of anywhere that has OEM Speedline's... if you have jack stands and some time you can send yours in to get chromed. I have looked at doing this with mine. Check "California Chrome", "Wheel Creations" and anywhere else you can locat online and see what they say. but i doubt they are going to stock the Speedline's, especially sence they havnt been made sence 2004 (8yr old wheel)

House of wheels, sells & has in stock, front & rears brand new, Z 06 Speedline wheels for a limited time only.
They are Argent Grey,, stock color.
There is a special going on too, he has 50 new sets of polished front & rear Z16 Speedline, Z 06 wheels.
That would be better than having chromed & cheaper in the long run.
Look for their add in the for sale section, here on the forum.
Good luck.

Cool!
Polished aluminum is definitely better than chrome plating imho. You don't have to worry about the longevity of a plated finish, and any light surface blemishes can be fixed up without much trouble.
I would look hard at the Polished rather than the Chromed as others have mentioned for the various reasons. I just put some polished Speedlines on this year and and I'm a happy camper.
As bubble-z mentioned, House Of Wheels is supposed to be getting 50 sets. Seems like a good deal that they are offering.
Decisions decisions... believe me those polished wheels look amazing, but I'm just afraid of the maintenance they may need. I think I might be happier overall with OEM chromies, I just need to find out how and where to get em . Also not really sure I'd be willing to be Vette-less for 3 weeks while the stockers got chromed. Is CalChrome and WCC the only two who do the chrome wheel exchange? I've contacted both and it looks like both are out of stock of the speedlines.
Pretty sure the 04 CE polished Z06 speedlines are clear coated, and the maintenance is minimal compared to non cleared aluminum wheels. My wheels were stripped and polished and not cleared but shine just like chrome after a little elbow grease. Decisions decisions..... I hear you on that for sure.
Good luck what ever way you go!!

Nice car thanks for posting more pictures. I'm going to buy a set from House of Wheels. I hope those are the center caps that Bob is selling with his wheels.

No problem, if i had not found these I would have been all over the ones that Bob is selling. Post up some pics when you get them on your car.

I bought that set off a fellow that paid $700 - $800 to have them stripped and polished by some that knew what they were doing.
Good luck with yours.
I know this is an old thread and I appologize for resurrecting it, but I have a set of Chrome Speedlines and they are stock. What year did they do this and for what car?
