2000 Vert seat problem

I keep hearing a buzzing motor sound coming within my dr side sport seat. I believe it is the motor for the bolster adj. If I hit the small button on the seat bottom while motor is buzzing it will stop. The seat still goes forward and back with the other larger seat switch. Underneath the seat are to plugins. A small one and a larger one. Can I disconnect one of these to stop the noise for now. Do either one of the plugins control just the bolster or does it also control something else. Need help, this is driving me crazy. Thanks

My passenger seat did that while I was installing my trick MGW shifter. Once I was done with the install...it stopped and Ive not heard it do it since

My problem has nothing to do with the shifter. It comes and goes as it pleases. I have been disconnecting the battery while parked in garage because it gets so speratic at times.
