"How to needed"
My 203 50th. anniversary coupe came with door rests. But they look hideous. How do I go about removing them without damaging the door panel ? I got some 50lbs fishing line and I thought if I left it out in the sun this weekend, and see if I can cut them off with the fishing line or is there a better way ? I got a real nice embroider set from CorvetteAmerica and I added some more 3M automotive double-face tape. But I really need to remove them without damaging the door panel. Please help !

Removing armrests ?
OK, if thats the normal way out in the sun to get them off. Any suggestions as to how I clean the door panel plastic and not ruin it? I want to install the two custom ones later once the door panels clean. Thank you !

I bought them last year from 'Corvette-America' they are very nice embroider with the corvette crest and in my 50th. anniversary color
