I bought a set of GM tpms for my 03 Vette and took them to Goodyear to have them installed. They couldn't get the new ones to reset but said they should reset themselves after a few miles. Well obviously they were wrong so I checked the Forum for information on how to reset them myself. I bought a tpms magnet from ebay to try and still no luck so today I took it to the dealer and they couldn't get them to work either. They said they'd do some research and see what they could come up with. I'm more than a little frustrated and I'm looking for suggestions. So if anyone has any ideas please share them. Thanks
I would go to a Discount tire if you have one by you, they have the machine to re set them. Otherwise the sensore you bought might not be working worst case.
I programmed mine before having the tires mounted. Just mark 'em for the appropriate tire with a Sharpie (LF, RF, etc). This way you can identify any problems ahead of time. In your situation, you might try a bigger magnet & see it that helps.
The horn does work and they are the correct sensors for the year. I guess I'll have to try a bigger magnet. That's about the only thing I can think of.
