I was going about 40 in a constructon zone when I saw a worker right on the edge of the road. For some reason he was running water on the road. He looked like he could step out in the road any second. I slowed pretty quickly to about 20. The guy behind me didn't brake until he was nearly in the water. When he did his brakes locked up and bam he got me. No one was hurt and he had insurance. My car is at a good body shop but they can't do anything until his insurance adjuster looks at it.
I really hope its not totaled. There is some damage inside the car, the storage compartment is crushed and the rear hatch is a little hard to open. The r/h exhaust is against the tire. Other than that what you see is all the damage that is obvious.
Its a close one, its getting easier and easier to total c5s.
You're looking at tail light bumper cover bumper rail exhaust rear fender interior pieces. It adds up fast...
A tear just drop after seeing this pray the rear part of the frame is not bent my buddy 2 years ago was RE and his frame was tweaked and they totaled his Vette he bought it back and fixed it. If your car is over 11 yrs. Old they just might his was a 2000 coupe and they wouldn't fix it best of luck to you I hope they fix it for you

Good thing is no one was hurt. Hope that the total damages does not lead up to the car being totalled out - just find a really good body shop and have them carefully look over the car.
Just curious - if he has (like myself) an agreed cash value insurance policy does that affect the amount they would total it as?
This is an interesting question. I don't know for sure, but I'd say that it wouldn't be totalled unless the repairing estimate is above the agreed upon value, in which case you would receive that amount...
