Default black outs

OK. Tried searching but didn't find anything.

Where did everyone buy their rear side marker light and front marker light black outs?

I just bought some from Zip and they are less than stellar. You can see the tape in the rears and the fronts aren't sized correctly to even fit on the car.

Thanks all.

I got my front turn signal and side markers from gscreations.com Very happy and pleased with them both.

Side markers I have:

Front turn signals:

Good luck. Hopefully Zip works for you. If not, I've had good luck with these products

Spoke to Tom at Zip this morning. He is sending out replacement black outs at no charge.

He personally verified the fit on the replacements and even provided a few tricks on installing the front black outs.

This is outstanding customer service in my book and I will have no problem ordering from Zip again.

Zip customer service is always great to deal with. I have their front black outs installed currently, and have ordered other parts from them in the past.

My side's are the GS creations one's in the link posted above - get the etched logo ones with the LED, not the cheaper slip-over...you'll be much happier with the fit & finish. I ordered the slip-over the first go-around, and sent it back after a couple minutes of not getting it to fit right. Plus it ends up looking "bug-eyed" & bulges off the panel

Also regarding the fronts, I do have a set of the GS creations as well. The acrylic on their version is roughly twice as thick and appears darker than the Zip version, but I was unable to force-fit these through the front over the lamps. At least on my car, you'd have to get under it and take the lamp assembly out to get them in (which is why I'm currently running the Zip's).

Are those stock Z06 wheels painted gloss black?

They're TSW Nuburgrings (17/18's), powder coated a 60% gloss black. Decided to keep the OEM Speedlines factory and not mess with them...yet lol

I had not heard of GScreations until this thread. I might try out their side markers, the covers from the other companies are fine for the tails/fogs/reverse but the sides stick out a little too far IMO.

Nice. Where did you buy them? I didn't know you could specify the paint on those.

So they're stock size wheels and tires?

Looks good.

Give them a shot, I was pleased working with their customer service when I returned the covers that bulge out for their etched logo, flush mounting markers.

Thanks I actually got them through Discount Tire; they had a nice promotion going on at the time & I know the manager of a D.T. in town who'll hook things up. There's a couple vendors here on the forum selling them as well for good prices. I took them to a local powder coating shop to have done; mine were the matte gunmetal finish when I ordered them.

Yup, stock double staggered fitments. If I remember correctly the OE fronts are 17x9.5, 54MM offset, and the OE rears are 18x10.5, 58MM offset. The TSW's are hubcentric (no need for hub rings to fit correctly), and are 17x9, 50MM offset, and rears 18x10.5, 65MM offset. They fit perfect, no balancing issues either. Weights are within a couple oz. of the factory wheel. Just swapped my stock Z06 sized PS2's on to them.

i went with the static stick-on's for now. it was a $20 investment to see if i liked them. i do, so now i'm in the market for nicer ones. thinking about getting LED tails and have them darkened. thinking that might look better than any light covering.
