Replacement Air Dams On Sale! **$89.99**
Every time you hear that "scrape" when you are driving your C5 around town, odds are that you are slowly eating up your lower air dam spoiler. The flexible plastic can resist this abuse, but over time it begins to warp, bend and ultimately falls off.
If your air dam is currently warped or damaged, it is very important to have it replaced. The spoiler actually creates negative pressure under the car funneling the air to the radiator. In addition, a damaged spoiler will lead to hotter engine temps and reduced performance!
If you haven't taken a look at yours yet, might want to before these sell out at this price. These are also great to have on hand when it is time for replacement (it will happen!)
Our offering is for the complete 3 piece air dam replacement kit that easily reattaches to the bumper with the existing hardware. Install can be done right at home!
We have these kits available at the lowest price ever listed on the forum...
$109.99! That's 20% off our already great price!

Just picked one up. Mine is not broken/damaged, but this is a great item to have as a future need will happen! I also suspect these will become harder to get as our cars continue to age.

What is the difference between these and the OEM air dams? Is the thickness and rigidity the same or improved than the OEM originals? Is the spring-locked center section the same?

My 98 that I purchased this year doesn't have the air dam and she overheats when I use the AC. I'd like to know what is all included in your "Add Mounting Hardware" kit since I don't have any existing hardware . A picture would be nice.

I installed these recently and they are very good quality. I kept my original OEM kit for emergencies, however the front end now looks a lot better. I guess 8 years was a good run for the OEM spoiler.
I also installed the hard plastic corner reinforcements which IMO are a must in order to strengthen the corner sections.

Will these "hard plastic corner reinforcements" repair this broken screw hole so that I can put the screw back in to hold the corner air dam up ?
Can someone post pictures of these "hard plastic corner reinforcements" please ???

What are these "hard plastic corner reinforcements" ? I have a broken screw hole in the bumper where the right corner air dam attaches to the bumper.

If you have a broken screw hole, you will need to purchase a new metal retainer clip that the OEM hardware secure to or just rig in some new hardware, i.e. washer, etc.

Below is a picture of the corner supports I installed. They are basically very hard plastic that you install underneath the rubber corner spoilers. You screw the OEM hardware into the fender holes and the corner supports basically prevent the rubber corner spoiler sections from drooping and pulling away from the fascia.
If you have a broken screw hole, you will need to purchase a new metal retainer clip that the OEM hardware secure to or just rig in some new hardware, i.e. washer, etc.
