Default LS6 question

I have a 2003 Z06, F.A.S.T. manifold, Callaway Honker intake and larger injectors. The throttle body is a stock GM LS6 TB. Is the stock TB good enough, would a better TB (larger) increase my HP or not make that much difference. I don't know what mm the a stock TB is, but I do know there are larger 90mm TB out there. I also have heard about loosing low-end torque and gain little to no horsepower at the top-end. Any thoughts on this.

What size FAST intake is it? To answer you question if you have a 90mm or anything bigger than stock the matched throttle body to that intake will make more power than the stock one how much more is dependant on your mods but with the intake and injectors I wouldn't say it would make much of a difference.

Is that ALL mods on your car? If so i wouldnt look to gain much of anything but a loss in gas mileage

Larger injectors? Why? And who made that decision? Longtube Headers is the next step for sure.. You can increase air intake all day long, but you have to have a good exhaust system to really see a gain... Intake and exhaust mods go hand in hand.. In my opinion I would have started with exhaust mods first... I'm not trying to bash you.. Thats my opinion.. Just trying to help...

Stock LS6 TB is 78mm. If you have a FAST90, then you might as well pick up a used LS2 TB (which is 90mm) and have it ported (Lingenfelter does good work for $95 - http://www.lingenfelter.com/mm5/merc...gory_Code=C235). You just need an electrical adapter so your LS6 ECU can communicate with the LS2 TB.

I also agree that you're still well within the comfortable range of the stock fuel injectors at this point...

All good points and no offense taken from anyone...I have a thick skin. The exhaust issue is a known one. I understand the combination. I can't do much with the exhaust living here in CA. Smog will fail.

Ah man, I feel bad for you living in CA, sad to think Cali was once a hot rod mecca. Kook's and American Racing Headers both make bolt on systems with high flow cats. I would call them and verify if they will be CA emission compliant. Otherwise keep it all stock and add a Procharger

Nothing that moves or replaces the stock cats is technically legal.
