Default new steering wheel

Im looking for a new steering wheel. Are their packages out there with the wheel and hub? i would like it to be about the same distance from the dash like stock with tilt but a different shape. Air bag is not necessary.

I wanted stereo/bluetooth buttons on the stereo and a factory look, so I put a 2012 C6 AE wheel in mine.

That's a slick set up with the wheel controls working.

the quick release hub is from ati. call mike akerly to order 248 848 9200 ext. 160. it is pricey (i believe $280), but it is high quality and made for the c5 so install was simple and it included a 2" extention to get the wheel out to about the stock location. for an additional 70 they will send you a carbon fiber plate to cover up the hole left behind, but i made me own out of a badly damaged front splitter i had laying around.

i got the nardi wheel from amazon. i forget how much it was.

were you able to trick the sensor or do you live with the airbag light? also would doing this cause me to fail inspection?

I put in a resistor to trick the system which is super simple. I dont know about inspection because we dont have inspections in ohio. you'd have to check with your state.

Not sure if you could get it to work with the factory radio. I also needed a C6 clock spring, C6 airbag, PAC SWI switch to hook it to my Nav unit.

You might want to check with APsis also - I think their steering wheels use air bags, but they look good.

I think the C5 wheel fits with the C5, but damn, that 06+ C6 wheel looks GREAT!! How much did that end up costing for the full swap? That has an airbag too so no sensor issues as well?
