Looking for this part-- help
It is for 1997 ls1. Does anyone know if any of our forum venders have this? The one on my vett looks like it is corroded any ready to fall.
If it fails while driving will it strand me on the side of the road?
"INTAKE ENGINE COOLANT CROSSOVER PIPE AND PLUG"
Any help will be appreciated.

The kit called the "crossover pipe and plug" refers to the LS6 and late LS1 style coolant lines that do not connect underneath the intake manifold. Your 97 has a connected pipe from front to back. So to replace it with a stock style, it will not be a kit with any sort of plug. You can use it though. This would be an excellent time to upgrade to an LS6 intake or the like because you will be doing that same job to get to the coolant pipe. Basically the kit you are looking for is for the LS6 intake manifold.
