I posted a few weeks ago about plasti-dipping my C6 Z05 wheels and doing a red stripe on the lip to tie it in with the Torch Red exterior.
Now that I am also 100% sure that I am going to do it, I started to think about first the center cap and the lug nut covers. First on the center cap I ordered them plain when I ordered the wheels as I did not want the C6 logo on the caps and I added the C5 logo decal. I wondering if I should leave that small area chrome, not the whole cap, just the small area that has the logo. Secondly, will the paint stick to the plastic lug nut caps and when I put them on I normally use a 3/4 inch socket and small extension, but I worry that this will remove the plasti-dip.
Any suggestions on these issue?

And as for the center cap, might look OK with just the logo left chrome. If once you do it it doesn't look quite right, you an always redo it easily enough.
