Ever since I got my H/C/I install done I have had nothing but problems with the car. First it was the lifters collapsed (my own fault for not changing them), now that that issue is fixed the car won't even start. Now I assume it is from the cam (TSP 233/239) that is causing this, but I don't really understand the codes I am getting now. I am trying to find someone to baseline the tune at least, but no one seems to like doing it through the computer. I am getting P1514, C1278, and then the other day I started getting the U1000 code. I can't remember the others right off the top of my head for now but it was some for the RDCM and LDCM maybe 1064. I got the P0500 once but I cleared everything and that wasn't hasn't come back.
I'm sure I am being completely retarded about this, but I deploy in a few weeks and I have no time between now and then to try and fix in issues other than the tune between now and then. Thanks in advance.
Skyavonee- I haven't been driving it at all. It won't even start right now unless you work the throttle to make it start. Then it dies as soon as you let off.
2K3Z06-I want to be sure it is my tune, or lack there of i should say, that is creating my issue with not being able to start. Nothing was said about a blower and the car has already had the repairs done to it. i'm trying to figure out a solutions in the little bit of time I have right now
Is the cam degreed properly? Did you use the correct length pushrods? If yes to both questions I would lean toward the tune. On my LS1 Camaro it ran like crap with just a K&N Filter and Headers/full exhaust. Got it tuned and all the power came back and it ran much smoother. I'm sure you know this but don't drive that car until it is tuned by a pro on the dyno or at least until the parameters are set like you said in a "baseline". Good luck. Post up the cure when you find it.
