1999 auto having problems
cant brake torque or stall car up to launch at the race track. it acks like it has a studder box and cuts out. have any suggestions. just happends when you hold brakes and give it gas

yes and no codes. it will still spin the tires as long as you dont hit he brake peddle. as soon as you touch the brake peddle and the gas at the same time it just kills the motor down. if your moving or not

My 99 auto does the same thing at times [not always] when trying to power brake it! I think it isn't going into low [first] gear when it does this as it never does it when i manually put it in low. it does it in drive or 3rd from a dead stop when it acts up.
P.S. Make sure your t.c. is off! I have to stop the car to turn off my t.c. or it wont disengage.
