Default Connector Removal Help Needed

I have removed my console and have accessed the HVAC unit (to fix) and radio (to replace). I found great guidance on access. However, I am having trouble removing the connectors on the back of the both units. With regard to the HVAC unit I have read that there is some place to press to release the plug but don't see anything. The radio plugs don't remove either by simply pulling (did not want to try too hard). Have searched the forums and the web but cannot find any help. Thanks in advance guys (and gals). Sam, the stumped chump.

just push down on the clip and wiggle all directions. dont pull on the wire, make sure your pulling the plastic connection.. it will break free

the piece you push in should be on the top of plastic connection i believe. its the only raised piece on the connection

look here... on post #31 there is a pic of connection..on the bottom of plastic connection is raised area where you push in
