I like it a lot for what it is... I have a 17lb battery that doesn't have much capacity so if the cars sits for a few days without starting it I'll throw it on. I never used one with a normal battery, just a standard charger...
I like the fact that a "green light" comes on when its charged.
It's great for the motorcycle too!

Ctek is a great charger. I have the 3300 which is the normal small one. and the 25000 which is the most badass one they make. It has the battery cell rejuvenation feature which actually has brought a few of my optimas back to life. Some batteries that I have had laying around for a few years were too far gone for renewal. I love the gel cell (optima specific) mode. It is the only charger recommended by Optima. They also have a little meter that you can put inside the cockpit that shows battery life and can also be used to plug right in to the charger. Another quick connect way is the one that gets bolts to the side terminals and stays there until you are ready to connect it. Great for cars that are garaged for long periods. Go with either the 7002 or 25000 to get the desulfation mode.
