Have some new custom emblems on my C5 that I measured twice before putting them on.They are backed by 3m tape and one is a bit crooked. Wondering if there is an easy way to remove and reinstall without destroying the adhesive. Thanks for any advice you can give me Paul

Most likely once the tape has adhered to the car, you are not going to get it back off without a real struggle. I would just remove the emblem and get some 3M double sided tape from a local parts store. Clean off the old tape and then take an exacto knife and trim the new tape to fit the emblem. Then reinstall the emblem on the car. I've done it to a few emblems and it works very well.
Thanks all for the advice.Thought of using the fishing line but may leave well enough alone. Had several people look at them last night and none saw anything off line. I'm sure someone at a car show will point it out to impress their girlfriend but who cares! Thanks for the help Paul
u can buy 3M emblem adhesive from any auto parts store..get some adhesive remover..and then pull them off ..and then attach new double sided tape..and your good to go
