Awesome , because you didn't change the springs. Your car will sit so flat in the corners , say goodby to body roll. The shocks will be stiffer so you will feel more feedback from the road condition . I did my 01 6spd back in 06-07 and love it. Make for sure you have metal end links the plastic one will snap

Just a quick point, on oem sized tires the largest bar Ive seen recommended was the C6 Z51, thay say the Z06 one may be a bit too stiff. How much? I have no idea, but there is such a thing as matching components so there is such a thing as limiting roll too much (where the tires would break before they would with a slightly softer bar....thus making the stiffer one less effective).

The way most of us drive I seriously doubt it will make much of a difference and it will definitly be an improvement over the C5 oem bars.

Awesome was the word I was hoping to read as I'm installing the same package as daddy11 from the partshouse. I didn't change the stock springs since I wanted to keep a softer ride but firm up the cornering feel and overall handling.

I'm expecting it to be a major improvement and for my style of daily driving I can't imagine needing anything more ambitious than these sways, shocks and links. Like superjet says I'm expecting it to be a lot flatter and more positive on the road.

I hope the change is awesome for you and it's the best mod you have ever done. I have a stock suspension 99 FRC and the handling is superior to my ability to keep my *** planted in the seat . If I was looking for better, flatter handling, my first mod would have to be a 5 point harness. I bought some aftermarket metal endlinks on ebay because they were such a good deal but haven't put them on yet.

I did C6Z shocks and sways and it was a really nice difference over the junk F45.

I also have 345s out back to go with Z sways!

Do it, cheap mod that nets great results!

I did the C6 Z06 sways on the wife's stock-suspension '02 coupe back in '09 and she and I have both been driving this setup with stock wheels and runflats ever since in rain, shine, snow, etc. with no problems and much better handling. I was expecting to have to swap in a more moderate set of bars if the wife complained but nary a bad comment came my way.

The Z bars are very close in size to my Hotchkis bars on my C5 so I honestly didn't expect to have any issues.

Here's my install thread.

I've read a few post stating that if your running stock tire sizes that teh c6z sways will be to large and cause push or wheel hop in the corners. The input may have been from some of the lapping or track guys (not sure). From personnel opinion and on my setup, I had the very base FE4 and so far only upgraded to c6z sways and metal end links. I tested out a few corners with stock size tires with no "push" or wheel hop. The car stays planted, and the ride still feels supple. I agree with your statement 110%

I have the C6 Z06 bars but went with Pfadt coilovers on mine. Currently running 295's on the rear of my coupe but will be going to 325's by the end of the summer. Have no issue with the ride and it corners like it's on rails.

I went with C6 Z06 Shocks, Sway bars w/metal end-links on my 2000 coupe 6sp. I also swapped in C5 Z51 springs and use 18x9.5 thin spokes at all corners. The fronts are 275 the rears are 295. It works very well to date. I have not tracked it but have pushed it through some back road twisties with very good results. The fronts hold and the rear follows it around without issues. Roll is non-existent at least at the speeds I have pushed it to, and it is very near netural regarding under or over steer. But I am admittedly not a professional driver so take it for what it is worth. I am very happy with the mods. Good luck.
PS Almost went with coilovers but given the cost and the use I have intended it was not worth it to me in the end.
