Funny you should ask that, I just drove 1,700 + miles last week and I don't know if it's because I blew the cobs out or what, but my car now has 6,400 miles on it and it is running better than it ever did..
Very noticable difference in power. :smash:

I have about 5K miles and I feeel the car is getting stronger as the mileage piles up.
I would recommend taking it easy on the car for a while yet. 500 miles IMO is not a long enough break-in period for any vehicle.

I hit 7000 miles and the car is better in performance, smoothness, idle, all in all NICE Though still trying to get rid of the exhaust pipes ringing. But with summer and the ac on I probably wont do anything about it until November.

thanks.my exhaust "jingles" too.if i put my hand on the outboard ends of the mufflers the noise stops.the end cap of the muffler is very thin and sort of "oil-cans" i'm getting used to it.
