Default Tighten things up

The trim around my radio and ac - I think it's officially called a bezel - is loose on the passenger side. It was the same on my '97 when I had it although on the "new" 99 it's more pronounced. Is there a good way to fix this? It seems the edges are very thin so using a double stick tape or something similar doesn't seem like it would hold.

Thanks

There was a sticky thread with some repairs in it and this was one of the repairs covered. From what I remembered they fixed gap by wrapping black electrical tape around the ear that keeps the bezel in place. Enough tape was used to cause friction to hold the bezel in place.

Also, there are some screws that hold the bezel in place under the mid part of the console. You can loosen those screws and slide the bezel toward the front of the car and retighten to hold it in place.

Here are a couple of threads I found by doing a search.

Do you notice the gap being wider in different temps?

Seems like the gap seals up completely when it is hot in the middle of the day

In the morning when I get in it is more pronounced
