just bought new to me 98 coupe with adjustable handling (tour sport performance) i really don't feel any differance in any setting is this something you only notice cornering hard etc.? phil52277
I've had 3 c5's with the f-45 suspension and I've never felt a difference whenever I turned the ****. It's not just you. I really don't think anybody can actually feel a difference.
I have also had my car since new with the F45 option. I have never been able to tell the difference either. I certainly would not pay big bucks for new shocks for the system.

My wife and I can definitely feel the difference in all 3 settings. But then our 02 Vert only has 24K.
The ride gets progressively more harsh and the rebound is tighter, even over small bumps in the road surface, and the roll lessens as well. It constitutes a slight improvement in handling/cornering but not so much that I would even remotely consider buying and installing new F45 replacement shocks when the time comes.
You should feel the difference during rapid transitions when cornering or dips in the road. The car will corner flatter on the performance setting. During normal driving the car will feel more jittery.
Mine went at about 35k miles. They squeak like hell. I am replacing them with Koni FSD shocks.
