[Z06] surge with C.A.I. ????

surge with C.A.I. ????

Hi, I have an 07 z06, all stock and mostly gonna stay this way. But, since an air filter is 90 bucks, I figured why not get a cold air, or aftermarket filter kit. I like the SLP Blackwing. I hear of some z06's surging with C .A.I. installed. Is this true, I dont want any trouble. I also don't want to tune the car, I want to leave it stock. Thanks in advance.

By what your criteria is in your post, I suggest leaving it stock, no problems & no worries.

It's a great car the way it came from the factory.

I would not put any cold air intake on without a tune. The performance benefits would be null and the air/fuel would probably be off.

thanks guys, thats not what i wanted to hear, but i want the truth. I feel ur both right, better left alone.
