Recently these two messages keep coming up- Last time they appeared I simply keyed off at a red light and restarted and it fixed it till now. Anyone have another way of resetting these two messages short of taking it to the dealer- and charging me up the wazo.. Thanks::
Remove the ECBM module and sent it to ABS Fixer and for $150 it will be fixed with a life time warranty.
This is a common problem , but only 2000 to 2004 can be repaired.

Yes thanks for the info- I'll try getting the codes from that link you sent me. It's a 2003 Z06, 6 speed, 10500 miles- yes only 10k miles, no mods except for K&N dual air intake....
I was getting TCS, 1214 and charge system warnings pretty regularly. About ~6-weeks ago I disconnected and charged the battery, rebooted the car and reconnected the freshly charged battery. No codes or warnings since! I think these things in some cases at least, are too sensitive and once there are failures in the history it wants to keep reporting them as new. Even slightly low batt voltage seems to exacerbate the issue, as do poor ground connections. I would check all this thoroughly before sending anything out. Good Luck!

My problem on my 99 was a bad battery. I change the battery and left it disconnected for 24 hours. No problems

Gary
Which may have let the battery recover a bit (due to it being disconnected and not suffering the 20mh/hr parasitic drain we get in the C5 when the car sits idle)

I get this code when it happens to me, on occasion. I turn it off and restart and it goes away.
What has helped some people with this is pulling each connection (they just plug in on the inner surface of each wheel assembly, no tools required, just unclip the plug) and spray it a bit with contact cleaner....reassemble.

Just a note, we usually dont just tell people to take the EBCM out and send it for repair when the get AH/TC indicators on the IP. A few conditions can set that that have nothing to do with the EBCM (bad wheel position sensor, Steering wheel position sensor, bad ground, low battery....etc). Probably better to ask for the codes showing in the Onboard Diagnostics and going from there.
I had that problem, brakes were good, but the left front bearing was starting to go bad, and caused an intermittent error. The bearing with labor was $300.
It's actually fairly easy to replace, and MOST quick lube shops have the computer to check it.
If that's the problem, part is $150, and its only slightly more involved than brakes....

Push the reset button. sounds like you have a wheel or steering sensor going out.
