Believe or not it starts with removing the entire console from the back to the front before you can remove the radio bezel which also has to come out. Not as big a job as it might sound but it does take time.

This is a step by step removal of the console. It is for a shifter replacement but it details exactly how to remove the consone piece and you can disregard the rest...

Gas door switch plug was
a bit of a challenge on the console reinstall. They should have added about 6" of wire, but that would cost them and be too easy.
If you have a vert the waterfall comes off with only four screws.
