Can these be used to replace the power convertible antennas? If so, how difficult is the installation?

I haven't replaced the power antenna on a Corvette, but it has been possible on some other vehicles. It is much more difficult to replace than the stalk antenna, but that just unscrews so everything is more difficult than that.
The basic idea would be to remove the power motor assembly, then use an M6 bolt and washer to affix the Stubby in its place with the antenna wire connected to the bolt.
