Anybody running Billy Boat's PRT exhaust? My Chinese ill fitting system still doesn't fit right after several refits. Sounds good but rattles and just pizzes me off. I'm looking for an aggresive sound with no drone or popping on deceleration and something that fits right and doesn't have to be hammered into place. Please, no vendor sales pitches.
Thanks for the input!

I had the B&B Route 66 on my '00 - great fit but it had a lot of drone and popping - had to install an X-pipe to cure most of that. Not sure how the PRT does in that area.
I am now running the Corsa Indy Pace Car system - excellent fit/finish, awesome sound and absolutely no drone or popping from the exhaust.
I am running PRT. Wierd drone at 35-50 but awesome after that. I have a convertible and they are super quiet after 50. Never rattled or anyother little noises. I have been very happy with them.
Had the PRT's on my '01, no drone or popping. Liked them overall, good fit and finish, but something was "missing" sound wise.
They just did not have that "exotic" sound that my Corsa Indy's had when you would come off throttle at higher rpm's (.37 sec below). And yes I like the popping.
I love my B&B PRT's too..Its has a drone, but its not bad and does go away at highway speeds it's a daily driver....
The x-pipe is suppose to help with popping, I don't have an x-pipe, 'cause I kinda like the sound. Also, I got speedway tips, just look amazing IMHO
I just put a set of prt's on my stock 98 coupe. Love them, I haven't noticed any drone or popping however there not as loud as I thought they would be. They do have a nice idle sound though.
I also have a set of PRTs with speedway tips and a Xpipe and no cats it still has a drone but not badand popping is minimal get the B&B you will be happy

Where did you buy them? I can't find a dealer......
Ok. So this is the first video that I have come across that gives a 'real world' sound to a particular exhaust system. There's no 'let's put the camera/mic at ground level in perfect allignment with the tips' shot and the camera man is talking throughout the vid making the exhaust compete for the sound (which it does quite well!). Thank you!
Nice looking ride, 02Cool! Those tips are kinda sweet! But, you still have drone and popping, huh? Thanks for the reply!
Hi PeteO, Eureka!! love that place, Redding here. Like I said the drone and popping are not that loud, when I installed them I was surprised that it was as quite as they were, when cruising in town, but open them up on the highway and they do come out to play, and really sound strong. I bought mine at marylandspeed.com the least expensive place but diffenetly do shop around. I did a couple of months of research,I knew I wanted B&B because I heard them on a vette before, I think they were bullets though and didn't want it that aggressive. So, I started asking just like you are doing and wound up with PRT
I have B&B PRT and i can tell you that there is ZERO DONE .... I'm running borla x pipe as well u should get the x pipe as well to get rid of truck idle
im actually gonna weld some high flow cats and get rid of stock cats since i find this exhaust to be a bit quiet for me
