I am like you... I prefer my car to "appear" mostly stock.
If you want to win shows...
- add a crap load of tacky add on stuff in the interior, and engine bay.
- add some LED lights in the engine bay and fender wells.
They you will take 1st place.
Its so sad..... but its true.

Something I said in another thread....
The "stock look" may not be the height of fashion as the C5 ages, but the stock look will NEVER go out of style, and never look cheesy.
Exterior/Interior appearance modifications have there short time in the spotlight as the "cool thing" to do, but as time passes look much worse than the stock look ever will.
That's why I chose to put most of my mod money into performance upgrade modifications. Faster, and better handling will never go out of style.
I do have some simple appearance interior/exterior modifications that I can easily un-do if I need to.
Winning shows is not on my list of things I care about.
