- add a crap load of tacky add on stuff in the interior, and engine bay.

I agree... Pep Boys, and Auto Zone can keep there crap.
Something I said in another thread....
The "stock look" may not be the height of fashion as the C5 ages, but the stock look will NEVER go out of style, and never look cheesy.
Exterior/Interior appearance modifications have there short time in the spotlight as the "cool thing" to do, but as time passes look much worse than the stock look ever will.
That's why I chose to put most of my mod money into performance upgrade modifications. Faster, and better handling will never go out of style.
I do have some simple appearance interior/exterior modifications that I can easily un-do if I need to.
Winning shows is not on my list of things I care about.
