Default Need some help! What performance upgrades should I get?

Ok so I have an 2004 z06 with about 14k miles on it. What are some quality performance upgrades I can add? Maybe to get up to 500hp. What are some things you have down with success?

i got to 440rwhp by adding a vararam, ar headers and an england cam along with a tune. probably with head work you cound get 500 hp. 440 is plenty for the type of driving i do... i am real happy with the souund and set up

I am a firm believer in boost. If you want power and driveability, boost it. If that interests you, look in to a twin turbo kit, or any of the centrifugal supercharger kits. Lots of good vendors on here can help you out. 500hp is cake with psi+proper camshaft and you can still keep the original hard engine parts.

Do you want 500hp at the motor (adding ~100 hp over stock) or 500hp at the wheels (adding ~150hp over stock)?

What's your budget?

If you just installed an a&a blower kit with a large 3.8" pulley. You would put down at a low 525rwhp.would be a new car and would drive EXACTLY the same until 3,000+rpms.

What do you plan to do with the car?

The combo of CAI, LTs and tune is proven effective. You could always do a small cam with supporting mods afterwards...

Bang-for-buck...can't beat nitrous.

500HP in a N/A car will drive like crap on the street. 500HP FI will be easier to drive and probally a cheaper build as well.

True, but that stuff scares me. I wouldn't do that to another motor of mine
