Simple fix -

Check all around the airbox and all the fittings to make sure they are sealed and tight and no extra un-metered air is getting 'AFTER' the MAF!

Did you change the airfilter or do anything to the Vette recently?
Can you pull the code for us?
What was the EXACT code?
Can you pull it and give it to us? please!

Thanks,Matt

I'd put in a fresh air filter, simple fix, or if the light stays on I'd use compressed air nozzle and blow out any contaminates from in front of the radiator / evaporator, and or the worse is one of the oxygen sensors is bad. But if you pull the codes it should tell you what is the problem.

Also while you have things opened up clean your MAF. You can get an aerosol can of cleaner specifically for this at most automotive stores.

Check the band clamps (if applicable) and make sure they are tight. Also if you are using the stock air box setup and youre using a aftermarket (screenless) MAF, you'll HAVE to get a Haltech Honeycomb screen for about $40 OR another maf with a screen. And YES.....I know that the maf in the 2001 ZO6 had a screen. When I removed my maf screen from my 2001 ZO6, I also got codes. Went back to the screened maf, solved the problem.

Default Air box Leak?

I left out an important item, I swapped out my 2003 LS1 air box with a 2003 ZO6 air box, but the Little metal clamps that GM provides are trash, they couldn't hold a 2 LB baby from pushing the air box & lid apart. (I used two long about 18" snap cable ties and tightened down the air box lid with them, but since I was in there, I put a K&N high flow air filter in. It's good for 50.000 miles, and I think I've only got about 40K myself. Try the long cable ties and just snip off the extra piece. Good luck, simple fix, takes 10 minutes.
