I went to the air show at McChord Field in Tacoma today. There was a red C6 Corvette coupe on display there. Here are a few photos.

Surprised we brought the B2 so close.. Normally we only do fly by's and no close enough or long enough to get those type photos.

Those are really good shots!

Did you use a mount? Usually all I get is fuzzy photos!

You better post the C6 to keep this thread alive!

The warthog has to be one of the ugliest aircraft ever built but also one of the most awesome! Can you imagine being in a tank and see that thing coming for you!

I did not take a picture of the C6. I used a Nikon D3100 with a 55 to 300 mm lens, hand held, usually at 300mm. Taking the pictures was a bit difficult and I feel I got lucky with some of them.
The B-2, we were told, was on an 8 to 9 hour training mission and made 3 low level passes over the airfield. The B-52 made one pass only, while the B-1 made a bunch of passes with wings extended and swept back.

Yeah I have worked, B52 and B1's now I'm on tankers. I just got back from deployment where I worked A/R Crash Recovery for them all. I'll never go back to another bomber if I dont have to.
