Prepping for plasti-dip?
Tomorrow I'm going to paint the whole back end black with plasti-dip.
Should be fun, I just want to get an idea of how it will look (C5R inspired)
Any tips on prepping the surface for plasti-dip? I'm sure I have wax still on the paint... probably not going to help the dip adhere very well.
How did you guys prep without damaging your actual paint and clear coat?
Thank you!

Specifically use Dawn brand and then wipe her down with some rubbing alcohol. Ready to go!
Post pics when you are done.

That should get it clean enough to have the Plasti-Dip adhere to the clear.

Yes, I do vehicle wraps all the time at work and use alcohol to clean them. As long as you dont sit there and rub one area, it works well.
