Another Exhaust Question

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Sometimes it's hard to get to hear them in person though, unless you go to a Vette show or ask people to start their car for you. I listened to many clips on youtube and eventually settled on the B&B Bullets with x-pipe (and headers). I already had the mid-america "quad cruiser exhaust on the car which overall was slightly louder than stock, but sounded a bit pitchy/raspy at higher rpm's. However, we have the mid-america "Quadra Power" exhaust (with x-pipe) on our other Vette and it sounds REALLY good.. not too loud/not too quiet. This would be a good option for you. Interior resonance is minimal unless you get on it but who cares so much about that when you have a great sounding car?!!
I went with B&B Bullets, x-pipe and headers. Upon the initial start-up of the Bullets, my jaw dropped... absolutely amazing and a free-flowing exhaust which helped throttle response a little more. They are loud, but GOOD loud; Very deep. IMO, the way the Vette should sound. I don't even listen to the radio because I'd rather hear the car!
But, if you drive the car everyday (which I don't), a quieter set-up would probably suit you better. As a weekend driver, it is just so much fun to fire up this beast and turn heads everywhere. (When I want it quiet, I just keep it under 2,000 rpm's and chug along.) There are so many options to make these cars sound great. If anything, just be sure to include an x-pipe.
