Default Any thoughts?

Hello All!! I'm looking at this car and need some opinions.
I live in Canada so it in km's but any advice would be appreciated.
This is how the ad reads:

Selling a 1999 Corvette, dark blue with tan interior, 6-speed manual transmission. 239000 km on the car. Heads, cam, intake, headers and tuning done at approx 195000 km. Passed a safety inspection this spring after winter storage.

Asking 13000 certified

thanks,
John

That's a lot of miles for the price. I don't know prices in Canada but I don't think I'd take a chance on a car with those miles. Doesn't that equal around 150k miles?

Yes, it's nearly 150K miles. I would be concerned with the upgrades at those miles - what else was done to the car to help with reliability and who did the work on those mods? If it were me, I think I would keep looking for one that has less miles and is not modified.

That's a lot of KMs and I would keep looking and consider the northern states close to Ontario as there are more vettes and better prices in the US...money is close to par and you'll get more bang for your buck...I got mine in Seattle and saved an easy $7k over prices in BC....and BTW it is easy to import them....good luck

239 000 kms with mods? I'd walk away. I wouldn't touch it at that price. It's not stock so you can be rest assured that it has taken a beating. I'd rather pay a little more for a stock lower mileage car.

PS: I am quite amazed that it was modified with 195K on the clock. Goes to show how reliable these cars really are.
