So I think my radio is fried. It happened while it was sitting with the battery unhooked at the shop during its head/cam install.
Now everything on the dash works like the HVAC, hazards, and the lights on the HVAC but the radio itself has nothing. There is no display, no lights, no LOC code nothing. I went ahead and picked up another one just in case but is there anything else I can look for? I checked in the fuse panel and the 20 amp fuse marked Bose is good and it has power going to it.
Read your owners manual. I think that there is an anti theft feature on the radio that causes it to go dead if tampered with. There is a way the owner can unlock it if you have saved the code. Otherwise you have to get a stealership to unlock it.

I belive there are two other fuses pertaining to the radio. I forgot how they are marked but should say on the panel by the footwell. If you can test with another radio to see if it works/doesn't work you can narrow it down.

I've had many experiences with the radio. Try removing it, remove the connectors, then reinstall. Also, start and restart the car a few times. Also, try your spare each step of the way too.
