Default Tire Shine...

Does anyone know a brand of Tire Shine that doesn't flick off the tires and deposits it onto the side of the car.

Any brand will not flik off provided you apply them properly. I use a tire applicator pad that applies it evenly without touching the rim. got mine at Autozone

That is what I use and have never had it coat the side of the car after application.

Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel

http://www.autogeek.net/opti-bond-gel.html

Best tire gel ever. I mix it 10:1 in a spray bottle for larger tires and underhood.

I agree. Plus it seems to last a long time.

Go to the Dollar Store and buy a can of cheap spray furniture polish. Works great, leaves a more "natural" finish to the tire instead of being overly "shiney". Spray it on. Leave it set a minute. Then wipe it off.

Zaino makes a great tire shine. The best I've ever tried. It does not sling at all.

I use the same product for all vinyl, plastic and rubber -303 Aerospace Protectant. Wipe it on the tires, leaves a natural look and seems to last. I use it on interior vinyl, weatherstrip, and under hood.

I second the Zaino Perfect Tire Shine. It doesn't fling at all. I really like Stoner More Shine, Less Time for tires, but I can't say it doesn't fling.

I also use Zaino Perfect Tire Shine, does not sling off and does not have that wet look.

Zaino Tire Shine is amazing as it "dries on" and does not fling off.
I recommend cleaning your tires well before putting this on. Get all the dirt off your tire, then put on the Zaino....

I put the Zaino on these type of sponges and wipe on my tires.

Just don't put so much on and make sure you wipe it off a bit after application.

Is Zaino available at most auto parts/accessory retailers?

If I am in a hurry and will be driving soon, I use old-skool Armor All. Doesn't leave the sidewalls very glossy or last long, but blackens them up nicely and dries quickly.

If I am detailing the car for a show or cruise the next day, and there will be time to dry, I use Black Magic Tire Wet. Glossy and greasy, I let it cure overnight. I always use a clean cloth and give the sidewalls a final dry wipe before driving, too. Regardless of what product is used, I think that is the key to keeping stuff from flinging off the tires.
