Door Noise?

Door Noise?
Everytime I close the door on the driver's side of my 03 AE/DD it sounds "Cheap". It rattles and sounds like the window is loose or something. I have no leaks. Does anyone have any suggestions or opinions as to what the cause is? Thanks in advance!

Mine does it too, but only with the windows down. On mine it's the belt weatherstrip being loose toward the rear of the door (I think one of the little "nubs" that clips in is broken), I'm sure a little adhesive will fix it until I eventually buy new ones.

It sounds that way whether the window is up or down. To me it sounds as if there is some weather striping inside the door missing or something. I guess I will have to get brave and take the door panel off and investigate. I would just like to have the replacement parts needed to replace them when I tear into it initially so that I can fix it and out it back together.

if you are going to take the door panel off to investigate, put some Dyna Mat on the door skin while you have it off. do a search for window adjustment for some tips on panel removal and what to look for.
