I have seen one of these in person at Purifoy Chevy in Ft. Lupton, CO. They specialize in Corvettes. Are VERY over-priced, but handle only the best cars!!

It is a very high quality body kit and are simply amazing units!!!!! They do not compromise the '53 body or styling even a little bit, and have all of the technology and driveability of the C5!!

I checked it out thoroughly too!! It is not a grafted on kit!!!!! It is a well engineered re-body at an OE level of craftsmanship.

Just my $0.02.

I have seen some of those conversions at car shows before.

Trust me...........you guys immediately disliking it, you really need to see one in person before you make a decision. And, I'm a guy that is pretty much a purist when it comes to stock being the best!!!!!

It may be a "quality" build, however as with the "Kings new clothes" you can fool some of the people most of the time.
For me its a "pigs ear, not a silk purse" .....

I've seen a few up close and even had a similar white/red combo parked next to me at a car show. Overall, it is a very expensive and quality retro custom. Certainly unique and not something most here can afford. It is overpriced in my opinion however they still sell way above C6 Z06 prices, even used.

That is why I rebooted my interior to Torch Red after seeing a couple of these cars in person. I knew I could do it after seeing theirs, and not pay some shop thousands of dollars to do the same thing I could do.

Unique and not something everyone can afford or want to drive. But my hats off to those who do have one.

It is interesting and will certainly garner attention wherever it goes but is not for me. For that amount of money I would rather invest in a ZR-1.

I agree. I reacted the same as others when I first saw a picture of one. Once I saw a couple of them in person it changed my opinion. Probably would never buy one, but was impressed once I saw one. I don't think I've ever seen one with the side skirts though.
