DIC default settings
I have a 1997 Corvette in Canada, so the DIC defaults to metric settings for kilometres, litres, etc. Does anybody know if it's possible to have the DIC re-set so that the default is miles, gallons, etc.? Tx.

I believe if the car is a Canadian car it will only default to metric, If you change it to miles it will default to metric next time you start the car.

Thanks for your responses. I know that the E/M button will change it at the time but once the car is turned off, it returns to metric the next time I start it (as Mr. Bill says). What I would like to do is change the system default to English, not metric.

Not sure it is possible, That is the way it is set up for north of the border. Maybe a Tech 2 can do it, Never heard of it being done though.
