Default Insert foot to rearend!

So my driver side turn signal switch finally started to fall apart on me after 70k so I go to Ecklers online and order one, three days and no movement so I call them and they tell me it will be the 25th of July which would be another week and a half. once again I check on the 25th and no movement still! I call and they say now it will be August 5th so I cancelled my order and start the search.

Mid America no go, Corvette Central no go, Ebay $50 more than anywhere else, I finally call switch doctor and the girl tells me it will ship that day for $63. Finally!! Oh but wait no email conformation and tracking number at all for two days! So on the phone again and they tell me they are on national back order and don't know when they will get any in. So once again I cancelled my order.

Here is the kick me in the oriface, I go to our local chevy dealer here and they say, oh yea we can get one from another dealer in TX who has four right now. $68 and more knowledgable, in just three short days I finally have my turn signal switch! So anyone else out there need a switch go to your dealer first cause GM may not have one for anyone else til Xmas the way it is going!!

At least you got one - sometimes a dealership is not all that bad when it comes to getting what you need.

Sometimes it's best to check with the dealer first! Not always but sometimes.

If your driver side turn signal switch isn't working, you can swap the one from the passegner side and it will work. You just have to flip it over to get it to fit. :P

Good one Aerovette!! LOL!! Well the new one was a snap to put in, also had to get a turn signal wire harness bypass to get signals to work again and new AC Delco oil sending unit, all installed and everything in great working shape now!! She feels like brand new again!!

Also meant to say that we replaced my fuel injector o rings since this is the second time taking off intake, the dealer wanted $98 for o ring set, AC Delco of course, so I went to Bumper to Bumper where they said the same set thru them was $68 or I could go with their house brand for $12.86 for the same exact thing!! Thats just nuts for some rubber o rings to pay even $68 mostly I know for the name!
