You just missed a fun run through the mountains today. Check the events/so cal area for times, usually the second Saturday of every month. Lots of arm chair talk, but not so much scenic talk. If you fast turns, join us. If you like to stop and smell the roses, maybe not.

I am in the Valley, but all the roads are close to both of us. We are into fast turning.

We used to run that road on the sport bikes. Always an excellent place to go play.

That shot is practically in my back yard. Just about a mile from the rock store. Probably my favotite part of the canyon where that boulder hangs over the road.

Lived in the area for 40yrs. Been through that canyon more times than I can mention. Lots of cool twisties for the Z and HD.

The biggest problem with the snake is the photographers there making people do stupid things just to get on camera. Probably a crash a day there. I am an avid motorcycle rider, and avoid Malibu like the plague due to the squids, cops, and photographers. With that said, the snake is really fun!

Wow. It wasn't like that 10 years ago when we were out there on a regular basis.

Do you know if Latigo Canyon is having this problem? That used to be a great road too.

The photographers dont make people do stupid things. Some people are simply naturals. But I do agree the presence of the cameras brings out the bonehead in a few.

There are a certain breed of people that do stupid things no matter what. When you get thousands of people together in one location, such as this, there will always be a few idiots. Some just think they can defy the laws of physics.

As long as you keep it real and enjoy the comaradarie of others, there is a lot of fun, experience, and sharing to be had.
