What is your intended application for the rotors - street or track ? The DBA rotors are made in Australia and certainly are better than the Chinese crap available at the local auto parts houses. For a street application, they would be great and last a long time. I used the 4000 series slotted and they lasted about 25% longer than Chinese in track application. Have since moved to the 5000 series two piece rotors and the jury is still out on the price / longevity equation for track use.

Thanks for the info. My application is strictly for street. 4000 series slotted was what I was looking at. Last thing I wanted to do was put crap on. It's not how fast you can go, it's being able to stop once you get there.
I've had 4000 series rotors on my 99 for over a year and I like them. And like you, they are strictly street use. I don't know what kind of pad you're planning on using, but I have Hawk ceramic pads and they're kind of noisy. FYI

That would be a function of your tire width and compound. Your stopping distances on the street will not shorten with different rotors. I just replaced my brakes on my Z06. I was running slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads. They were okay, but the slots made the brakes pulse at slow speeds. They also seemed to eat my pads quickly. I have replaced them with standard un-slotted coated rotors from Centric with Centric premium semi-metallic pads. The car stops just as quickly as before, there is minimal dust, and they are quiet as hell. They also perform better when wet.
I plan on tracking the car hard next year, and will be installing a Stoptech or Wilwood BBK. Until I need such a big kit, the stock brakes work very well. No slots, no drilled holes. Just good pads, braided brake hoses, and good brake fluid.
I looked into DBA's allot when I did my brakes. They ended up to be out of my price range, but they were a top pick for me. I think they look great and the performance seems pretty good from what Ive looked up.
I am also looking for rotors and pads, I know DBA make excellent products from when I lived in Australia.
They are definitely on my "radar", with so many options out there does get hard to choose .....
