Question about steering
I have 26k miles on my Z. I noticed today that there is a bit of "play" in the steering wheel. I can move the steering wheel left and right a bit and the wheels don't move. What's the cause of this?

Please define "A Bit" more closely - do you mean 1/4" or is it 1/2" or more of steering wheel movement.
I have always had minor play in the wheel on my Z06 since it was new = 1/4" or less before the tolerances in the system were taken up and the wheels started to move. If you have more, it's time to start looking at all the suspension bits and pieces as well as the rack and pinion.
